Need Help With This Crazy Cycle
Wed, 03-06-2013 - 2:49pm

I posted a few days ago about possibly having an anovulatory cycle. Well I'm on cd 43 and ovulation is still not confirmed by fertility friend. Here is the link to my chart:  They predicted ovulation first at cd 24 and drew a cover line, but took it away twice. Then they said I ovulated on cd 36 and two days later took the coverline away. I really don't know why they took the coverline away after cd 36 because my temps have stayed above the coverline that they drew then. I'm having pms symptoms as well. I'm 37 and really feel I'm perimenopausal because my pms symptoms have increased over the past year or two. My cycles have ranged from 21-40 days over the past year as well. Thanks for the help!

Hi there. I really can't be of any help but did want to ask if you've talked to an OB/GYN about your cycle. :-)

I haven't yet. I wanted to give it a little more time to see if it would work itself out. I know some women have really long cycles especially when they get to my age. I had some mid-cycle bleeding one month last summer for 14 days and it stopped on its own. I think it was due to some more vigorous exercise I was doing at the time. That's the only really "off" time I've had in my cycles recently, except for them getting longer and increasing pms symptoms. I was just curious of people's opinions.

Well, AF finally started today on cd47! That was a long one. I had pms symptoms almost for a whole month. That's never happened before. Fertility friend never detected ovulation. Guess it was an anovulatory cycle for me.

Hello again!

Your chart does not indicate ovulation.  Good information to take in to your doctor.  When was your last pap?  Sounds like one is in order.  Mid cycle bleeding and a change in your cycle should be looked at.

Better to be safe!
