Recurring BV, normal (or something more)??

About a year ago I got BV with a brownish/green discharge and sour smell. I got a prescription from my dr (doxicyclene and amoxicilyn) it went away and then a few months later came back. I went back and got another prescription (amoxicilin) and cleared it. Months later again. Is this normal?? Or can this be something more serious??
I'm embarrassed to return to the doctor and get yet another prescription.
Any help??

Hi and welcome. Please don't be embarrassed to go to the doctor over something like this-that is what they are there for. If I were you, I'd go back and get things checked out just in case.

Hello! You shouldn't be getting repeated infections like that. They can cause all kinds of problems if left untreated so don't ignore it. Check out a product called Rephresh. Also research tea tree vaginal suppositories. I would also recommend starting a probiotic to help balance the bacteria in your vagina.

Talk with your doctor. Don't be embarrassed. That's their job!
