Strange cramping

So I started having light pink spotting a few days before ovulation, and then it turned to brown and stopped the day after ovulation. I also started having cramps when I ovulated and are still going on five days later. I looked online and all the websites are mentioning pregnancy, but I'm not pregnant. Is it normal to have cramping this long after ovulation?

with info about midcycle cramping/spotting. I would keep take note of it and see if the same thing happens next cycle.
