post coital bleeding!

hi everyone,
I am new in this board. I am having post coital bleeding for 9 to 10 months. I went to see a doctor, and she suggested me to do regular and vaginal ultrasound that came out normal. Dr. also checked my inside. I had pap semer test that came out normal too. Thanks God! I am still having bleeding after having sexual intercourse. I am wondering if anyone had similer probles or can give some advice. I read articles about post coital bleeding and it says that sometimes it is the symptoms of cervical cancer that scares me. Please Help! THANKS.

Hi and welcome to the board. What is your doctor saying about it? Has he or she offered any kind of advice on what to do next?

It sounds as though your doctor is taking steps to find the cause of your bleeding. Cervical cancer would have shown up on the Pap test, but yours came back normal, so please don't let your reading frighten you.
If your doctor is a general practitioner, you may want to consider seeing a gynecologist about this. Keep a record so you can report all the facts. Does the bleeding occur after intercourse every time? How long does it last? Is it heavy, light, spotty, or just a tinge immediately afterward? How frequently do you have sex (are you allowing enough time for a small tear to heal)? These are all things your doctor needs to know.
