At long last, I weighed in under 220 for the first time in 16 months!

Conngratulations on jumping that hurdle, that's fantastic! It's really easy to let our "stuff"get in the way of our progress. Stay the course, you're doing great and are an inspiration to newbies like me!

Good job....I think the 'make the bed comfy' idea is great - I always am happy when I go to bed and the sheets have been changed (I have cleaning people who come every other week and do it, and even though I 'know' they did it, I am almost always surprised when I go to bed and its made up so well and the sheets are fresh - losing your mind is good in some ways...)

Remind me of the time you get up and go to bed? Is there really time in your day for exercise? Or do you need to be a weekend warrior?

My daughter has serious mental health issues (bi-polar, schizo and panic disorder) and is a chronic alcholic and drug addict.

Do you have a favorite TV show that you usually watch? Or the news? Or treat yourself to 30 minutes of music? Can you convince yourself to do a half hour's worth of exercise then? You would need 2.5 or 5 pound weights for this (repeat three times)
March in place for 2 minutes
10 squats(holding weights)
10 shoulder presses
10 lunges
10 side raises(hold weights at your sides, raise arms to shoulder height, lower)
10 bicep curls
10 tricep extensions (hold weights overhead, drop behind your back, raise them
10 leg lifts(sit in chair, raise your legs, lower)
Then get a mat, get down on the floor, and do some crunches for abs - there are a bunch of variations - you probably know them- 10 of each one you know, trying to do around 100 (or work up to it)

Even if you did this three times a week, it would be a start.

I could make up a new program for you every couple of weeks so you wouldn't get bored!

Hi, I am so sorry that there is so much on your plate right now - I can see why it could bring you down.
