I live in the city and the closest I come to a garden is a few african violets on my windowsill...not edible!

Tanya - that was awesome about your husband getting up with you to encourage you - he sounds like one of the good ones (maybe Liz and I will rethink our position...probably not though:)

I had a good gym visit - 7 minute bike warm up, lifting for chest/back, ab circuit, andthen ran 1.17 miles in 15 minutes, 2.5 in 19:56.

We are thinking of having a garden, peppers tomatoes, beans, carrots and then planting some fruit trees and bushes.

1.4 lbs down, current weight is 313.0. I'd say that's a nice way to end February.

Hi - I really, really want spring to get here - the days are getting a little longer everyday - but I am dreaming about making a garden which will not have things planted in it until May - Uggghhhh!

Got up this morning and did my workout yay...after discussing my lack of motivation for food and excercise DH suggested that he would get up at 5 with me have a small prayer time and then both of us workout so we did.

I am ready for February to be history! Although we are going to get snow/sleet/freezing rain/rain tonight just to have one last fun day!

Liz - YAY on the exercise! I wish I could trasnlplant a small amount of my exercise joy to you - it makes me so happy to go to the gym and to work out that I wish I could share the happy feelings.

On the veggie front, I got brocolli for $1.99 a pound today, and celery for $1.99 a bunch - and the probably last box of clementines I'll buy this year - $7.49 (in December they were $4.99, but I got 24 clementines so I think I am happy with the deal) I bought canned tomoatoes on sale with a coupon - I like them in soup although they probably raise the sodium levels.

I walked across the city to the grocert store (about 30 minutes) and between laundry and groceriries and trach I should be at 12 flights of stairs before I go to bed. I am planning to do abs/legs in a litle bit while watching basketball - planning an early night so an early end to kitchen cruising....
