I hope you all enjoy your weekend and Independence Day! I also hope you get a extra long weekend out of it like did this year. :) Anyone have plans? I think we are keeping it low key this year. Hubby may want to see fireworks, he always loves that no matter how old he gets!!

I'm taking Tuesday as a vacation day so I have a 4-day weekend.

A little late - but Happy day AFTER the 4th of July!
I had a great weekend - went to local (on the Cape) fireworks on Friday night - right down the street from my aunt's house so it was easy to go and to get hoome - not a spectacular show, but good.
We did a lot of fun things - kayaking, cookout, eating at a local favorite seafood restaurant (although i had a burger).
Fantastic SJ! Sounds like you did very well with those pies! I made a blueberry yogart coffee cake on the 4th. That was my 'blue' in the the red white and blue. Maybe next year I'll do a red food. :) Coffee cake turned out yummy but ugly as can be! Coffee cakes aren't the prettiest of cakes, are they?
Gotta do it. Gonna Do It in 2012!
