Hi Ladies,

I am still here - but am finding that to manage life, somethings have to give - and posting is one of them.

I am at the same place - working out is going well - food is (and probably always will be) a struggle.

But I remain committed to staying on this journey.

Hi SJ!

I know how it is to sometimes just have too much going on.

Hi Marianne,

It's hard when you end up stuck at a number for a while, but remember, just a few months ago you posted that you were 396, so mid 380's is PROGRESS.

Liz,
I am so with you on 'Sunday night soup' Right now I have one simmering - started with chicken broth, added 2 packages of mushrooms (I forgot I had some and bought more...), an onion, some celery, and a chicken breast. After it cooked for a while, I cooked up a quarter cup of dialini (little tiny round pasta) and added it. Seasoned woth a little salt, a lot of pepper, some poultry seasoning. My house smells deicious, and I have meals for three days.

Have you ever thought about Pilates? It is challenging, but a good instructor will teach it on multiple levels. I find it calmins as it is about breathing and stretching. Maybe you and your daughter could try it together. I've taken it to music, which is heaven to me, although at my gym, it isn't musical.

I think the incidental exercise is importatn, but I think ther eis something about dedicating a block of time to it that makes it exponentially better.

Have a good week

SJ
