Have you seen that Progresso soup commercial with the guy in the yellow and green 1970's exercise shorts and tank telling his wife to enjoy the view?

Hi Liz. Like you, looking back on my high school years does not give me motivation to get back into those clothes. I was very heavy in high school too, so I have never had that healthy body to refer back to. But it sounds like you know what to do to get there, and that's huge. Fighting the battle in your head is much more difficult than the one on the scale. It sounds like you have your head under control, and the rest will fall in line. Have a good week.

I think eight pounds in two months is great - a pound a week..I know if seems slow, but life is not like the Biggest Loser. As you weigh less, your body uses less and less calories for 'normal' stuff. That makes the loss slow...but you know you need to focus on the success to keep motivated!

Sounds like you've got a good eating plan for a warm week - we are hoping to hit 50 this week!
