Will try to catch up with everybody today - this has been a hard week in terms of time and stress.

Liz,
So frustrating! Do you think you are being as strict as you were when you first starting seeing success? I ask because I am finally working out really hard again and being stricter about food and after months of wining, seeing some results.

I wonder if we slp into 'maintanance mode' too soon and forget what the intensity we used in the beginning felt like?

Just a thought.

Hang in there...half a pound is half a pound down - if you weren't trying, it could be pounds up!

Best wishes

Liz,

A half of a pound is still a loss so congrats on that! It sounds like you've hit a plateau my friend and the only way to cross it is to change up the routine. I don't know what exercise you do besides walking but you might want to try something different that will exercise different muscles. Whole grains like oatmeal and wheat bread also help a bit when combined with fruits and veggies. Just try to switch things around a bit and surprise your body. It may have gotten accustomed to your normal routine and doesn't have to work as hard to keep up with you anymore! Good luck this week!
