Do you use calorie counts on menus?

According to iVillage Health, adding calorie information to menus doesn't lead to better food choices. "Making general calorie consumption guidelines available to patrons of restaurants where calorie count labels are already on the menu does not lead to better food choices, new research cautions." read more

What do you think, does it make a difference in what you chose?

Most of the time, I try not to look at them because I don't get to go out very often, and I don't worry so much about calories on the rare occasions when I do.  A few weeks ago, we stopped for a quick snack at a fast food restaurant, and I did actually change what I was planning to get based on the calories.

I rarely even look at them because when I go out to eat, I want to enjoy what I am eating. If I am feeling guilty over the calories, I don't enjoy my meal as much. I'd rather just guess or try to imagine that the calories aren't nearly as high as I think they are.
