Yay!  It's Friday!  This is the end of a loooooong week for me.  I'm really looking forward to having a few days off - more back babying time.

What are your plans for today?  I have two classes to teach.  Dan is picking me up after my second class, and - if my back allows - we're stopping in at a local Goodwill store.  We've been there before, but I'm hoping they've got some new stuff.

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday!

Good morning buddies.

Karen:  yes, stuff is coming in daily to my volunteer clothing mart so I am sure it is the same with Goodwill.   I have so many aches and pains anymore in my legs I am just telling myself this is the new me.

Ruthie: I love the visual of you and your husband walking together.   My one sister always appreciated walking with her husband as no tvs or internet running so she had his undivided attention.

I was thinking when I stopped at calling hrs yesterday I would see some people I use to work with but either no one was going since Bev has been retired longer than me or they were all coming later, anyhow, I was in and out of there in minutes.   Not too nice of me but when I saw my lunch friend had her Mom in tow I wasn't happy.   I am sorry but why is she feeding into her Mom refusing to stay home alone?  Katie lives 5 minutes from the DQ,  bring your cell phone and tell Mom to call you if an emergency happened.  Her Mom moved in a year ago and it has sure about ended our friendship as when you call Katie has atao put the call on speakerphone or her Mom gets hurt.  Oh well,  pray on it I guess but I was just hoping after a year she could leave her Mom home alone.   Keeping Kate in my life is worth looking at the Mom across the table.

No outside plans the next 2 days so Rudi gets lots of attention.   Bribed her monthly pill in her with the deli turkey.   I am giving it every 4 weeks vs. same date on calendar but different day of the week.   I know this way she will get 13 pills a year but after that scare twice with fleas I think this is the better way to go.  Yes, I know fleas are unlikely in the winter months but figured I can get in the grove now.

Weighed in for the last time in 2012,  at least I didn't gain more.

Will walk Rudi in a couple hrs then come home and today is laundry day and run the sweeper.

Have a good day ladies,  love,  Josie

Good Morning....Karen...hoping with a weekend of back babying you will be feeling better...Hope you have good luck at the Good will!

Josie...It is nice getting hubby out for a walk...figure it is good for us both And good us time!!  Sorry your friends mom has to be with her all the time...does she have memory issues and can't be home alone?  That is my mom....and why I will not have her living with me....because she can not be alone...I feel bad but need to take care of me....Enjoy your stay home days!!

I walked again yesterday...just me in the neighborhood...hubby will only walk at the Park....lol...but I walked 25 min around the area...it was nice....

Then went over to my folks and with Dad's help sorted through his closet....and got rid of two bags of clothes...(for Goodwill) He still has LOTS left.  I think each little bit helps!   Will be good when they are moved....Mom is more and more confused...

Today going to coffee and breakfast with gals...then hubby and I going to Target for another string of outside lights....and of course other stuff...lol...

Love reading what everyone is doing...miss you when you don't post!!

Hugs, Ruthie
