Josie...many thanks for the kind words ....saying my parents are lucky to have me....some days are so hard...and think they will get harder...Try to enjoy the time I have with them....and take some of the worry from my dad...I appreciate the thoughts...believe me!

Yep, Josie - I guess I'm having a staycation. We have three educators in this family, and all three of our breaks are on different dates. It's nice to have a break from classes though, even if we don't get to go anywhere. Of course, if you're smart like me, and have your students turn in their midterms right before break, you don't get as much of a break from them....I may have to rethink this. ;)

I think the bulletin board sounds really nice. It must have done your heart good to put it together. I'm glad you saved all those notes.

I'm sorry about your parents' car. I wish there was a way to deal with that situation. It happens to so many people, and not all of them are blessed enough to have someone like you in their life to help them get where they need to go after they can't drive anymore. How's your dad handling it? I know men can take it kind of hard when they can't drive anymore. ((((HUGS))))

We're in the seventies too -- what the heck? I can't believe the weather this year. Enjoy your bowling. Knock the heck outta those pins!
