GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Cool  Mornin', y'all!

I'm playing with some of the goodies we have - fonts, smilies, etc.  I haven't really checked much of this stuff out yet, so I thought I'd see if there were any new toys.  Wink  I'm noticing that there are still no color choices....that makes me sad.  Cry

So, how are you today?  Do you have any plans for the day?  I have class this morning and Survivor this evening, and grading in between - am I in a rut or what?  I didn't manage to go to the grocery store yesterday -- actually, I wanted to wait until Dan was available to help with the heavy lifting.  I'm hoping to go today.  It'll be a thrill to have groceries again, but it's tough to get myself to spend the money on them.  Ridiculous really -- I mean it's not like I'm buying a yacht or a diamond ring, but I'm in penny-pinching mode, and I can't seem to help myself.

I hope you have a wondiferous Wednesday!

Ruthie - I had no idea that one section of my post came out unreadable. On my computer it looks like normal type. I'm glad you were able to translate it. I'm enjoying Survivor this season. I've always thought that Penner was a hoot - probably a little much if you have to live with him, but fun to watch on TV. I'll be talking to my mom soon, and I'll ask her about her neuropathy treatment. Hang in there and keep the faith - <3 ((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Josie - I want to come and shop in your store!  I've been noticing that the prices are higher in the Goodwill stores this time than the last time we had to go through this.  Oy.

HI Buddies.

When hubby was alive, if I really needed lots of stuff it wasn't as fun with him as he was in a hurry, but sometimes it was nice to have company.

Took my friend out that helped with Rudi on saturday.   I didn't realize the town over has 2 goodwill stores so we went to one of them, yikes, prices were so much higher than where I volunteer charges.   You can come to our place and get a coffee mug for 25 cents, they were 99 cents there, and other similar comparisons.  But the store was tons bigger than ours.

Today I have my volunteer job.    Hope to walk Rudi here around 6ish.   Got the 4th and 5th Chet the dog series.  I think this is it for these.  First one is Dog on it.   These 2 are newer so need to be back in 2 weeks.

Ruthie:  my hubby also had heart issues: afib and overweight and high blood pressure, but we found with his legs, if we stopped at rest area to pee we would walk up and down a few minutes to help with the circulation in his legs.  And also one time in Atlantic City we walked too much and he had to lay on the bed with many pillows propped up.  But again,  was that all due to the neuropathy or his other issues or all combined?   I think the scariest thing for me when I said about bringing spare socks to change into after we trailed the boat so he could drive home in dry socks and he said he couldn't feel that his socks were wet or dry.  My heart broke as I worried how the neuropathy would end up?

love to all,  Josie
