I've read your posts about clean eating on FB, Tammy. It seems like you've found a way of living for yourself and your family. I'm so happy for you!

Hi!

I'm glad you posted. We always like meeting new buddies. I'm not sure what p90x2 is, but I sure wish you luck with it.

I hope you'll join in on the good morning posts, and continue to post your diet progress here in the Dieting folder. Welcome aboard!

Hey Karen, sorry I have been scarce! But yes, after years of trying (kinda like for this baby, lol) I finally found what works for me and my family. I cant believe how easy it actually is and all the great success that I have received from it. My goal of a size 6 jeans is within my reach finally......now just have to wait for the baby to come so I can get back to it.

Hi cc_moma and welcome to the board. This is such a great place with some great women. That is so awesome that you have started P90X2. How is it going so far? I do apologize for taking so long to get to this post. My life is kind of crazy right now. Anyways, you have started on the right track and if you dont mind me asking, can you tell me what your health and fitness goals are? Do you have any of the other BeachBody products? If you dont and want some suggestions I can make some good ones. As far as a diet plan goes, the one thing I have found is that following fad diets dont work. They may for a while but than you have to return to real life at some point and when you do most people gain all their weight back plus more. Drinking water is a great start but I encourage you to educate yourself of food and all the chemicals that are put in our food. They truly do have an effect on our weight and metabolism. Dont think of it as a diet though, for true and permanent weight loss you have to develop a lifestyle! Good luck on your journey and if you need anything just let me know!

Hi, hope you girls don't mind me joining in. My name is Leila and I'm currently using WW to try to lose some post-pregnancy weight. I've lost 13lb so far and I'm actually 4lb under my pre-pregnancy weight but don't look it so would like to lose another 6lb or so. Unfortunately the crappy weather here at the moment is makin me want to sit in the house and eat all day! Thought I'd pop in here for some motivation to get to my goal. A good friend of mine is getting married on June 9 so that is my goal, to lost the 6lb or maybe more by then.

Hi Leila, Im so glad you have jumped in and joined the group. Let me formally introduce myself, my name is Tammy and I have just recently rejoined the group after not being around for a while. I have a 13 year old (almost 14) daughter and my wonderful husband Mike of 6 years now. We are expecting a son in June so right now my weight loss journey is on hold.

I am so glad that you have goals set in mind and are using WW to achieve them. Years ago I wouldve discouraged WW because they didnt really teach anything about nutrition or exercise but that has all changed. I wish you the best of luck on your journey and hope you reach your goal, which I know you can, by the wedding date. We are all here for the same reason so if you are ever feeling down or feel like you cant do this please lean on us. We have all been there and no what a struggle this is! Take care and have a great day!
