Carrie, your numbers look fabulous! Although with all that running you've been doing, I'm not surprised! And you've mostly kept on track with your food - so CONGRATS on a great last half of 2011! I know you are going to continue to rock 2012!!

Hey CArrie I know in your November journal you were asking about lunges helping with your thighs - and the answer is maybe. Really if you have a body area that you want to lose weight in, you have to just burn those calories. The weight isn't likely to come off the spots that we want them to because genetically we are predisposed to having weight deposited in certain areas. Doing a good overall leg/glute routine will help shape your thighs though - so a routine that works the quads, hamstrings, glutes plus cardio will eventually make a difference.

Vanessa - I know! Who would have thought 120's would be my next goal! I don't know if I'll be able to contain myself when I see 129.9999! lol!

Miranda - I wasn't expecting it but the last 1/2 of 2011 has been very promising. Now I just need to keep it up!

Carrie - what a good idea to go and look back to see where we were this time last year! I'm going to go and check mine out later!

Great idea on the yak-traks. I normally don't do any outdoor running with the exception of our race on New Years Day.

For your weights routine - I would maybe double up on some body parts - and maybe even do some super sets - so you would do maybe squats plus switch lunges for a superset meaning you would do 12 squats, followed immediately by 12 switch lunges (jumping lunges), and then take your 60 second break. That's one set. Then you would do two more sets.
