I'd say that we are pretty evenly matched but that we have times when one of us will push the other one and usually without knowing it.

Carrie - I LOVE your dinner last night! YUM! And I like that your mindful goals are a bit of pampering for you!

I think that your stride ends up being different on a treadmill which is why it seems so different than running outside. I haven't been on the treadmill for a while, but I'd better get some running in so I'm not dragging on our New Year's Day race!

That lunch looks good! Did you make or buy it? Ugh - hate evenings like that - hope tonight is smoother!

You know - I have to put a towel over the treadmill numbers because when I look at them it does just make it seem so much harder and longer for me. I run by "songs". Sometimes I try to run 3 songs before a water/walk break sometimes 4 but I know if I can get through 6 songs the treadmill will be slowing down soon!

I agree about the towel on the treadmill - I actually make playlists that are a certain lenght including a cool down song so I can gauge where I'm at in my run or bike.

And Carrie - glad you got a little relaxation to balance out the cranky evening. Once kids get to that state there is just no reasoning with them, and even though you are sympathetic, it can honest to god get on your last living nerve. LOL
