Carrie, it is crazy how many people I know who have been hit with colds so far this season! Hopefully you are on the mend!

Sounds like a good plan to get started - you might as well try out the Week 3 challenge - maybe the pampering part? :-)

I did get in a long steamy bath... Can I use that for my Week 2 challenge? :)

Carrie, what a great weekend!! You are really on target! Too bad about the race, but hill training is never a waste!

Glad to hear you are getting rid of that cold - head colds can definitely slow you down!

Carrie, just remember a lot of times, you will end up running faster than you normally would in a race, and yes just finishing a 10 K is a great accomplishment! But do which ever race you think is best (although I'm sure with your friend we will be hearing about your 10K finish! LOL)

Hope that you manage to fight off those cold germs!
