Monday April 2

Well I'm in Kimberley BC on vacation! First day I went and found a gym relatively close by, and got a good workout in on Sunday. Today I went out for a morning ski (3K) came home had lunch and went for a workout at the gym. Then I came home and crashed! I've figured out that I can see the TV from the hot tub so can watch the NCAA finals from there tonight!

I already cheated on my clean eating after a great day yesterday - a chunk of fudge. But I got back on board right away for dinner!

Food:

Breakfast: Chia Seed w/hemp and buckwheat, eggs, coffee, water
Snack: Nuts and grapes
Lunch: Brown Rice with flax seed and edamame
Snack: peanut butter fudge

It is crazy! I feel like my head is spinning with everything I need to get done - both work and home wise!

You should try an early morning workout and let us know how it goes. I wasn't that keen on getting up early to run a few weeks ago but when It was really nice to know that I had that big item crossed off my list by 6am! I'll have to do that more often on the weekends!

Yep - darn food! Mine could use lots of concentration right now but it just takes so much effort!

Monday April 23

Okay mini-wake-up call. Weighed myself this morning and I'm up to 136.4 pounds. So definitely need to reign in my food intake and get my workout schedule back on track. I guess I've kind of been floating lately, and obviously I need to put some effort in here.

Vanessa, the product I'm using right now is a comination of chia, buckwheat and hemp hearts - and I use 2 tbsp at a time, and slice up one or two strawberries to put in. I really love it!

Okay cool - thanks!

Miranda I think you and I are alike with the food part. We're doing pretty good with the exercising but then when we don't track our food and it gets CRAZY!!

Tuesday April 24

So today was alright until I was driving home from the Opera and decided I needed to have two McDonalds Apple Pies. Sighhh. And I need to go grocery shopping, but am working until 10 tonight, so it might have to wait until tomorrow. At any rate, I think I'm going to look at my diet and exercise plans for the next week and make some adjustments. I am getting to that point again where I feel like I'm kind of being carried along by the current and don't have a lot of direction right now.

Still doesn't look like a bad day overall even with the two pies! I went to the Opera once when I was in college and I feel asleep - apparently I was to young to truly appreciate the arts! How was it?

It sounds like you've been really busy lately which I'm sure has contributed to your loss of direction!

Wednesday April 25

The opera was really good! It was Fidelio which is Beethoven's only opera. I always find it odd to listen to opera that's done in German - it's not a very fluid language, but the staging was really remarkable! Yesterday was a pretty good day, but again, I stopped at the grocery store at 10:30 on my way home from the gym to get groceries, and I picked up a chocolate bar that I really didn't need. But overall, my calories were still okay because I made good choices the rest of the day. No workout, but when I'm working at the gym, I'm on my feet from 5-10, and figure I get my exercise putting all the weights away lol
