Sunday December 4

Okay, well last week was a bit of a blur, but I've tried to recep as best I could. I missed exercising Wed, Thur, Fri, but regrouped on Saturday and Sunday for some good workouts and okay food. I noticed I am behind on protein intake so I'm going to try to bump that up too.

Monday December 5

A great day! Two workouts, and I switched up my food a bit to get some more protein in, and didn't even feel like a snack after dinner. This time I made sure to space my meals about 3 hours apart, and before my workout I had 1/2 tin of tuna which kept me going until I got home and had a chicken breast with spaghetti squash. You know spaghetti squash barely has any calories really and it ended up being a perfect late-ish dinner with the chicken. If I can keep to my workout schedule this week and keep my food similar I'm hoping to see at least another pound gone!

How funny is that - I had Spaghetti squash on Monday night also?! It really does hit the spot this time of year!

Good idea on the protien! I'm sure you need it with all the weights you do! I'm sure you'll see a weight drop if you keep this up!

We really must be planning foods from the same menu this week - I had a hot dog yesterday also! Ha ha! It's all about balance and it looks like you managed to find that with your eating yesterday - 1704 calories for a day that inclused hot dog and fries is pretty darn good in my book!

Your week is shaping up fabulously!

Good for you for getting to the gym before the hockey game to help balance out the calories while you were there!

Okay well I fell off the wagon yesterday and today for sure. Matt was having some issues with someone harassing him and we were dealing with the police for a good part of yesterday, and between that and some additional pressure at work to meet our metrics I spent the evening eating (and drinking) my feelings. A whole serving of penne and italian sausage and red wine. Siighhhh. No workout - but I did do my stint at the gym for my volunteer work and am bound and determined to at least get in a good workout today. But I've already been out for lunch for a meeting, and so my food is off already today as we had korean and I'm sure I ate too much. And all this stress has got my colitis acting up, so I'm going to simply try to get my food back on track and pull myself out of this pity party and be a little more positive.

On a good note, my friend posted a link to a blog by author Paulo Coelho - he wrote The Alchemist which is one of my all time favorite books and the blog is full of great insightful things we should all remember, and today it just seemed timely!

Just reading about the harrassment with your son is giving me chills - no one should have to experience that!
