Wow. March definitely came in like something. A slug. Couch potato. Something along those lines. LOL

I haven't really tracked. Food has been off the charts. And I didn't manage to get to the gym at all this weekend, first time in a LONG time for that! I went to stagette on Saturday, and I won't like. Apparently the difference between 22 and 42 is HUGE. How did I ever stay out that late? Or drink that much? Siiighhh. Anyhoo, I'll let you know now Sunday wasn't pretty and I had to take my grandmother to a concert of classical music, and then go grocery shopping. Sunday was tough.

This week is crazy because I leave for my conference Wednesday at noon, and I have an event Tuesday night and a newsletter I need to get out Wednesday at 9 a.m. which I haven't started. And I REALLY need to drag my butt to the gym!

Yikes! I can't hang with the "younguns" anymore...Dh and I went to a birthday party last weekend and I told him I turn into a pumkin at 10pm...lol!

It sounds like a very hectic week for you! How long is your conference - are you back just in time to get a good weekend in?

Actually, I've decided to stay in Denver for the weekend, but the YMCA is within walking distance and I get access to that gym with my local membership. So hopefully I'll get in a few workouts while I'm away. I'm hoping maybe the weather won't be miserable - it's supposed to snow on the conference days, but then start to warm up!

Miranda - as I've said before - we are so linked unfortunately with our ups and downs sometimes. I haven't tracked in days either and my food has been off the charts too :-( Time for an upswing for us both - let's get it together girlfriend!

Well I hope you are having a good time at your conference and that the weather holds out for you! That is great that you can go to the YMCA down there!

Tuesday March 13

Well March is not off to the best of starts. Right now I'm at 135. So up from my lowest point. I had a fabulous time in Denver, and actually worked out 3 days out of the 5 I was there, and fit in two workouts one day, so 4 workouts in total. I did loads of walking - didn't take a cab except for to and from the airport. I figured I walked about 6 kilometres a day!

Food since I've been back has been off - I haven't had time to go grocery shopping so have been eating out. Also haven't gotten back to the gym yet this week and have YMCA and campaign phoning to do so might not get there until Thursday.

Ugghhh. Seriously need to get my food in order. I'm having a bit of a free-for-all here. No workout as I went straight from work to do some campaign phoning and then home to work on a newsletter only to realize it doesn't go out until next week. Perfect.

Wednesday March 14

Okay, well ate out at lunch, managed to reign it in at dinner - it was my birthday so all things considered I did pretty well. LOL Was working at the gym, so no chance for bad snacks in the evening. Was a total disaster day at work - they are trying to push our boss out and they are bringing in someone one level higher than him, who is going to do the exact same job. And to top it all off - she has no fundraising experience and worked in sales and before that worked as a chef. Yeahhhh, I can see how that fits. Plus my boss left on holidays on Wednesday, but they told him he had to move out of his office before he left to make room for the new chick. Awful. It's just so disrespectful and devious. So funnily enough when I was browsing other jobs I found one in Calgary for the Faculty of Law as a development officer, so I applied. It would mean a move, but my family is all in Calgary, so it would be fun to be back with them!

Thursday March 15

sheesh. I HAVE to stop eating out at lunch. But I did get a workout in. I'm all done my weights workout, and now created a 4 week program that has one plyometric workout, one upper body weights workout, one stablizer muscle workout, and one unilateral workout (working one limb at a time). So a good mix, hopefully it will shake things up a bit.
