Wow. March definitely came in like something. A slug. Couch potato. Something along those lines. LOL

I haven't really tracked. Food has been off the charts. And I didn't manage to get to the gym at all this weekend, first time in a LONG time for that! I went to stagette on Saturday, and I won't like. Apparently the difference between 22 and 42 is HUGE. How did I ever stay out that late? Or drink that much? Siiighhh. Anyhoo, I'll let you know now Sunday wasn't pretty and I had to take my grandmother to a concert of classical music, and then go grocery shopping. Sunday was tough.

This week is crazy because I leave for my conference Wednesday at noon, and I have an event Tuesday night and a newsletter I need to get out Wednesday at 9 a.m. which I haven't started. And I REALLY need to drag my butt to the gym!

That really sucks about your boss. I'm just so disenchanted with corporate America/Canada this week. I'll cross my fingers on you getting that new job closer to family. That would be awesome!

Okay, well my weekend was a bust. I ate out, pigged out on pre-Easter Candy, and only got one workout in, and only one bathroom cleaned. My mother is coming to stay with me at the end of the month because my gram is having back surgery, so I will be in panic cleaning mode. It's weird how mothers will see things that no other human on earth see. LOL

Anyhoo, I got in a great workout - it was my upper body weights workout, and I did some pyramid training so I did 12 reps at a light weight, 8 reps at medium, 6 reps at heavy, 6 reps of heavy, and then as many as I could do at my lightest weight. I'm definitely feeling it today, but I think it's a good plan. So today will be some cardio and stabilizer exercises.

I got lots of grocery shopping done and have put together a good meal plan for the week. Now I just have to discipline myself into keeping it.

My weekend was a bust too Miranda but at least we both made it to the grocery store so that should help our eating this week! Great job on your workout over the weekend - I did nada! lol

Ohh... the Easter candy is out already!? I could have sworn we had months till Easter still?!

I'm sorry to hear about your job - it sucks when you like what you do but don't like the office politics or energy. Moving closer to family would be fun though!

Sounds like you are starting your week of right with a good workout and groceries! I need to take a page out of your book!

Monday March 19

Okay, I am bound and determined to get it together this week. And I started off really well! No bad snacks! Whoo hoo! So I discovered a yummy way to eat oatmeal in Denver - usually I put frozen berries in my oatmeal and cook it up - but they had taken berries, put a some chopped up fresh mint, and a bit of sugar and let the berries sit - and then you add that to the oatmeal. It's delicious! I love the hint of mint and I don't need to add any other sweetener! Also found some great vegetarian chili. Not sure if it agrees with my stomach though - but right now it's hard to tell if it's TOM, my colitis, or just something else. LOL

Yay on the no bad snacks... the belly may be the combo of the chili and the crystal light fiber depending on how much fiber it has...

The chili I made was WAY too salty. I won't be using that recipe again but I'm determined to not waste it.

Tuesday March 20

Another pretty good day. My calories are still a bit higher than I would have liked - but since I did cheat and have a burger and onion rings I feel like I did pretty well. Matt came over and picked up some stuff for his apartment, so I felt like I had to treat us both. That's a bad habit I've gotten into. But my workout was AWESOME! It was my first day doing my unilateral workout (all one arm or one leg or one side). It was a good one! Unilateral workouts help you see if you have particular imbalances from one side to the other - which help direct your training.

Cool! Since they're frozen individual containers now maybe I'll add sugar when I defrost them.

Awwww... Matt is moving out again? Well - you HAVE to celebrate that with a burger and onion rings!
