Wow. March definitely came in like something. A slug. Couch potato. Something along those lines. LOL

I haven't really tracked. Food has been off the charts. And I didn't manage to get to the gym at all this weekend, first time in a LONG time for that! I went to stagette on Saturday, and I won't like. Apparently the difference between 22 and 42 is HUGE. How did I ever stay out that late? Or drink that much? Siiighhh. Anyhoo, I'll let you know now Sunday wasn't pretty and I had to take my grandmother to a concert of classical music, and then go grocery shopping. Sunday was tough.

This week is crazy because I leave for my conference Wednesday at noon, and I have an event Tuesday night and a newsletter I need to get out Wednesday at 9 a.m. which I haven't started. And I REALLY need to drag my butt to the gym!

Wednesday March 21

Pretty good day - busy though, so missed my morning snack and made up for it in the afternoon. My calories ended up pretty good, but it was work night so no exerise.

Vanessa, Matt is still living in the apartment just 5 minutes away with about 4 other people. So it's fine - and he's paying rent (with the occasional handout from mom), and I've met all his room mates and actually have seen the inside of the apartment which is just slightly short of a disaster LOL He won the coin toss and actually gets a bedroom instead of sleeping in the dining room - so he's happy!

Thursday March 22

Weird day in terms of scheduling, and I ended up pigging out on chocolate covered almonds late at night. I did make it to the gym for a good workout, but had a lecture after work, so my workout was late.

Vanessa, honestly its not bad! LOL My schedule has been so crazy that between work, and gym, and work AT the gym, most nights I'm not home until 8 anyways, so its nice that I've not got anyone at home to feel guilty about!

Wow - what a great week Miranda! How was your weekend?

I'll have to try adding some mint to my oatmeal. I really like mint but only seem to have it in ice cream...lol.

I had to giggle over Matt's living situation. It must be a young man thing because my younger brother does the same thing - have 4 roomates in a 2 bedroom place to save on rent costs....lol. I don't remember every doing this when I had roomates but maybe girls are pickier/smarter? :)

Your workouts always inspire me! I've never heard of concentrating on just one side of the body but it certainly makes sense! I feel like I'm weaker on one leg for lunges.

Ohmigosh. Have not tracked, had one workout for a fundraiser, and am frantically trying to get ready for holidays.

Weekend was a bust because I went out for drinks Friday AND Saturday, drank far too much Saturday, lost my phone, asked out a guy who goes to my gym who happened to be at the same bar, and discovered Sunday that what I perceived to be sexy accent Saturday night is in fact a significant language barrier in the cold light of day LOL

I went to the home and garden show Sunday, and got a steam mop. The jury is still out - I have to wash the pads, but it seems to be good for the laminate floors. I'll see if they work as advertised in the tiled shower. It came with a mini-steamer that is supposed to be great for cleaning out the window sills, so I'll try that next!

I leave for holidays on Friday, have donor visits on my way to Calgary, visit with family and then out to Kimberley for some skiing and relaxing. It's good timing, as we start our fiscal year and it's a new cycle for our performance review. So I feel like I can recharge my batteries after all the change!
