That's awesome that you did get out for the 2 runs in Vancouver.

If you strangle your son does that count as cardio or strength training? ;-) lol

I hear those jails have some really good gyms in them and I'd bet you'd have a lot of free time for working out...just trying to find an upside to the issue in case you cross over to the darkside...lol!

That graph is so cool! At my fitness eval they did give me my heart rate zones. I wonder how accurately those were calculated... Man - you are really making me want a micoach or a heart rate monitor now!

Here's to hoping your March is more tame than your Feb!

Vanessa, and Carrie you ladies are hilarious!

Well so far this week has been a bit of a bust. Did a little stress eating and haven't gotten to the gym yet. But I brought my gym back today!! Whoo hoo!

When I was in Vancouver I did do a little shopping and bought some food from a little Thai Food stand in Granville Island which is like a huge farmers market. So I've been cooking and experimenting with Thai food - I got this delicous Bamboo rice which is green rice and it's great for eating with a stirfry. I also bought kafir lime leaves, and thai basil, and a whole bunch of other stuff, so it's been fun to try!

Am hoping to regroup this weekend and get back on board. Anderson came over last night and we kind of just vegged, which was nice. The house is ALMOST back to normal, but every once in a while I come across something else weird.

Anyhoo - am looking forward to the weekend!

The Thai food sounds interesting, especially the green rice!

March 7 2010

Okay, the good the bad and the ugly. :-o

I'm going to start to track weight/measurements again. I have to keep at that in order to concentrate on the end result. I also would like to start meal planning again. That worked really well at the beginning of last month. I have to re-organize my vacation, and start to force myself into a routine.

Weight: 146.2, down from my highest, but still a ways from where I need to be.

Measurements: Bust 34.5; Waist 29; Abdomen (widest part below belly button) 36; Hips 42

I'd really like to see a few inches on my hips and at least a couple off my abdomen. Where I'll probably see a difference is in my boobs. LOL Which is kind of a travesty.

I got to the gym twice last week, and I'm aiming to get 4 workouts in per week. I also need to increase my water intake to at least 48 oz per day.

As for food - I'll be happy this week just to track what I eat on a consistent basis.
