Okay ladies, I can't believe I'm already friggin' behind!! Sheesh. My life is playing catch-up. I am forever behind. LOL

Weekend was good - I have loads of holidays to try to take before July 1 when my vacation rolls over, so Friday was one of my holiday days. Yippee! I rode into the gym and did a workout, and then rode home. I burned a whopping 1182 calories on top of my normal calorie burn for just living. So of course I ate junky stuff all weekend. Siiighhh. When will I learn?

I found the most delish recipe for tomato jam. Good bye ketchup! This is sooo much better! Although I'm not sure how much better for you. LOL

I have written out a schedule for the month of May and actually put my workouts into my calendar like everything else I do. Hopefully that will help keep me on track. And I do find that I've rediscovered how much I love to cook - which is so much better for my wallet and waist!

Monday May 9

Pretty good day. Okay well it was up until I had two donuts. Once again left the gym late after a meeting, and was ravenous (sp?). Anyhoo, I have a friend who posted a recipe for some snack balls that would probably do the job and tide me over. I need a little cooler to keep in my car with healthy snacks and water!

Awwww... Welcome to the May journal section Miranda :-) lol

Awesome job with that Friday workout. Why do we always sefl-destruct? Whenever I lose a pound I take it as permission to eat junk til I gain that pound and another one back! lol

I always put my workouts in my BB - for me because I'm the dvd queen - it helps me keep sorted which dvds to do so I don't keep doing the same ones and where I am on the C25K workouts.

710 calories for a SMALL blizzard? Say it isn't so! I usually - okay in previous summers - have consumed at LEAST one medium a month! WOW!

That really sucks about the door guy! Did you call someone else or reschedule with him?

I'm the same way! I saw that I had lost a few pounds since I started shiftwork, so I gave myself permission to eat whatever I wanted and gained a pound back. Lesson learned....I hope!

Wow...a small blizzard has that many calories? I live within walking distance of a Dairy Queen, but knowing that is enough to keep me away from it!
