Okay - I'm going to ATTEMPT to get strict with myself, set some actual goals, and track, track, track! I'm setting weekly goals, and will be tracking them in my new nifty tracking binder. And actually yesterday wasn't a total disaster, but I didn't need the spaghetti. I got home and made some yummy fruit/nut bars to help tide me over on my late days so I don't stop and pig out at the grocery store.

I'll raise a glass of water to wishing you a wonderful November also! You can do it!

Your goals look great! How are you calculating calories burned? Is that your average daily burn + exercise? Thats a number I haven't seen before.

The fruit bars sounds like a perfect snack! That's a great idea!

I'm just using the calories burned from my heart rate, plus my average daily burn (off of sparkpeople). I've calculated that I'd like to burn at least 3,500 calories more than I eat, so here's hoping!

Okay a much better day. And I feel like I can get this eating under control. I made a binder. That's right, I've done up little individualized tracking sheets, and it seems to be working!.

Wednesday November 2

Vanessa, yesterday I didn't have any bought or extra snacks - I stuck to what I brought. I had a snack after my workout to tide me over until I got home which helped!

Wednesday wasn't as good - short workout, and it was donut day at work. I did have the least harmful donut (honey glaze) but I still didn't need the extra calories. I did go out for lunch but chose a soft chicken taco with no cheese and a water, so my lunch was still about the same, but I did have

I don't know how anyone passes up a donut! Good for you for choosing the least harmful! It looks like you made some good choices at lunch to - it's the little things that add up!

I'm liking your number tracking - it gets it all out there for the week!

Donut day - ugh! lol My boss brought in brownies yesterday and I didn't have a one! Whew - that was hard!

Good job for the healthy lunch choice while you were out.
