LBW - the plan seems really reasonable! And I'm glad you're seeing results! That's too bad about the pizza guy - but you didn't even WANT the pizza which is great!
As for the probiotics - there are a lot on there I don't eat because they are dairy based, but I adore Kimchi. It's really spicy (if you like that sort of thing) so I never ate a lot of it at one sitting. But you've reminded me I should get more!
What's interesting is the author states that those who don't eat dairy products or gluten or are vegan can follow this diet easily. Umm sure, but there wouldn't be many choices as far as what you can eat in each category. I wouldn't find that fun at all and am thankful I'm not in that boat.
I might look into kimchi since I do like spicy foods. What do you put it on?
Usually I just eat it as a side dish - it is kind of a spicy pickled cabbage. I know, sounds appetizing. It's often served as a side with Korean food. I don't have a lot - maybe 1/2 a cup at a time.
LBW - sounds like this diet (with some water modifications) is workign for you! I really like your idea of maybe having dessert at lunchtime instead of after dinner - good idea!
I'm really enjoying reading your journal! It's very interesting and you write so well!
Water intake - 8 cups and green tea at each meal does sound like alot! Especially if you are eating so many fruits or veges that have a lot of water in them also! I find that the color of your pee is usually the best indicator for me as to if I'm well hydrated or not - the more clear/opaque it is the better hydrated you are. Maybe you could use that as an indicator?
I did have a giggle about your thoughts on mayonaisse. I actually like the stuff so I can't relate! lol. I would love your yogurt ranch dressing recipe though if you have it... I've often thought about trying to make a ranch dressing with yogurt!
Youre doing awesome with your journaling and following the plan! I find what helps me with all the water consumption is to finish drinking it a couple of hours before bedtime. I usually get 2 16 oz bottles in by noon, 1 more when when I work out at lunchtime and then 1 before dinner (if I'm not drinking wine) and then I have 64 oz in and no waking up to pee a lot!
