It might have more to do with the fact that there aren't any local races for me..So to run them, I would have to travel ; )

I'm not sure the last day I posted, and I'm to tired to look ; ) I've been keeping up with my burpees each day. Most days I'm doing 50 with the push ups and 50 with planks.
Nov 18 - 3.34 miles 100 burpees

Wow Sonia! You're doing awesome with the burpee challenge! Is there a goal to how many you should be doing by the end of the challenge? Or are you just pushing yourself harder to do that many?

The challenge is 50 a day for 50 days.
Dawson has started doing 30 a day with planks, so I started doing the extra ones just to be doing them with him.
My goal is to be able to do 10 strong push ups by then end..

Sonia, that's awesome that Dawson is doing the challenge too! And I'm sure you'll be banging out those push-ups at the end in no time. And after a run, housecleaning, yes some quality couch time is definitely warranted!!

The 1st couple of days were forced, but now some days he does them before I get home for work.

Whoo hoo! Way to go Dawson! And yup - I would definitely get those burpees in before the run - and that way the run afterwards might also help with any stiffness!

You are doing a fab job on that challenge!
