WOW was July cruel to me - or really - was I cruel to myself in July? I had a lot of fun eating and drinking to my heart's content, adjusting to Jamie being back and us living together and him grocery shopping and cooking and then

I'd LOVE for you to be back on my wagon! You and Miranda so motivated me when you guys were doing the C25K plan!

The 30 Day Shred dvd has 3 different levels and each level is only 27 minutes workouts. Pretty darn pitiful that I haven't been able to dedicate 27 minutes a day huh? The only thing you need are hand weights. I switch between 3 and 5 lb weights since I'm a weakling now :-)

Vanessa, those look like great goals - and you can strap me onto that wagon too! I gained weight this last month instead of losing after a promising start!

And even though you didn't get your Jillian workout in - you DID manage to run at lunch. So great job on that!

Here's to a great finish off to our summer in August!!

Tueday, August 2

Ugh - what a crappy morning! Woke up with a headache - too much wine & no dinner does not make for a good combo. I did pack my gym bag for a lunchtime workout if I'm feeling better but I definitely didn't get up and do the Jillian dvd! I need to pound some water & get some food in me!

9:30 - coffee, 2 fr vanilla creamer, 2 Splenda
10:40 - bagel thin w/ laughing cow cheese, yoplait greek yogurt
12:30 - 100 cal pack almonds
2 - banana

2:40 Gym - Run 4.9 mph for 25 min. (5 min warm-up walk, 5 min cool down walk = 2.6 miles) (314 calories burned)

4 - Boca Spicy Chik'n patty w/ bbq sauce on sandwich thin, grapes, baby carrots & cherry tomatoes w/ ranch dip
PM - 2 grey goose & diet cranberry juice, 2 salmon patties, mac n cheese, mixed veggies

Water = 48 oz

Vanessa, hope you're feeling a bit better - yup too much wine always comes back to haunt us. LOL Looks like a pretty good day - what are the boca spicy chik'n patties like?

And your run looks great!!

To me the patties are a pretty good subsitute for a chicken patty - the only thing is - the spicy ones are pretty spicy to me. Next time I'm buying the regular flavor lol

Wednesday, August 3

9 - coffee, 2 fr vanilla creamer, 2 Splenda
10:20 - bagel thin w/ laughing cow cheese, banana

11:45 Gym - Tread Walk Level 7 4 mph (5 min warm-up walk, 5 min cook down walk = 2.2 miles) (241 cal burned)

1 - Grapes, lt string cheese, 100 cal pack almonds
2:30 - leftover mac n cheese, boca spicy chik'n patty w/ bbq sauce on sandwich thin, watermelon cubes
7 - Dinner with kids nite, got stuck in traffic, didn't plan ahead and have something already prepared at home so we stopped and picked up dinner. We went to Noodles & Co. Of course I didn't settle on the "small" size bowl - I got the large size :-( and then it wasn't even anything healthy. I got the chili mac n cheese w/ bacon

In the evening I drank a 1/2 can of Diet Coke instead of having an evening alcoholic drink!!

Water = 48 oz
