January wasn't TOO bad to me. I went back to exercising consistently, I rejoined Weight Watchers AND I got out of the 150s! I will admit that this past week between my cold and being cocky at my 5 lb weight loss for the month I didn't track or care like I should have so now I am definitely back on track - this morning's slight weight gain for my weekly weigh-in

Vanessa, that looks like an awesome day! Are you feeling less sore? You will have to let us know if you feel less sore tomorrow than on Tuesday!

I was still a little sore this morning but I did another round of Jillian this morning. AT lunch I couldn't bear to do my scheduled run because my knees are hurting so I walked again on the treadmill. I bought some new running shoes last month and I really need to bring them into work for my lunchtime workouts next week. I'm hoping that will help with my sore knees.

B - coffee w/ creamer, truvia, low sugar oatmeal, banana, turkey bacon
S - 100 cal pack almonds, light string cheese
L - leftover crockpot barbecue chicken, baby carrots & cherry tomatoes; vitatop choc muffin top w/ greek nonfat plain yogurt
D - whole grain pasta w/ spaghetti sauce, turkey kielbasa
S - kettlecorn

Water
Mon - 72 oz
Tue - 48 oz
Wed - 64 oz
Thur - 64 oz

Exercise
Mon - 30 Day Shred Level 3, Run 2.6 miles
Tue - NONE (too sore)
Wed - 30 Day Shred Level 3, Run 2.6 miles
Thu - 2.9 miles 40 min treadmill walk, Random Level 7

I think it's a good idea to incorporate some rest days in your exercise schedule!

Vanessa - check your stride on the treadmill - lots of people alter their stride length while on a treadmill because of the limted space which can end up putting extra stress on your knees. And where do you get your turkey kielbasa?

Great exercise week last week!

I do have bad knees anyway Carrie so I think the Level 3 AND the running on the same day just wasn't a good idea for me last week. I have been stretching - maybe I need to do more though!

Although I didn't track AGAIN Fri-Sun I know I didn't do too terrible this time.

Friday night I had a salad when I went out to eat with the kids - and a cookie lol

Saturday I didn't have breakfast but I had a cheeseburger and fries for my lunch/dinner followed by m&m's at the movies and then ice cream in the evening. Total splurge day!

Yesterday I ate ok but didn't exercise Saturday or Sunday. Friday I did the Shred dvd and I walked again on the treadmill.

Hey Vanessa, good job having the salad when you went out! And you're still getting loads of exercise in with the walking/running and DVDs!

Thanks Miranda. I'm on what I hope is my last day of my rut.

Monday I walked on the treadmill at lunch and ate healthy through the day but then Monday night I drank too much and didn't eat dinner.

Tuesday I was too hungover to get in any good workouts and I ate a big, unhealthy breakfast, skipped lunch and had Chinese food for dinner.

Today I've been nibbling from the box of chocolates I got with my flowers which is going in the trash when I leave work today but I did get up and do the 30 Day Shred dvd this morning and got in a treadmill walk at lunch. Jamie got off work early today so he's making tacos for me and the kids for dinner but tomorrow I plan to be back on track with my food!
