January wasn't TOO bad to me. I went back to exercising consistently, I rejoined Weight Watchers AND I got out of the 150s! I will admit that this past week between my cold and being cocky at my 5 lb weight loss for the month I didn't track or care like I should have so now I am definitely back on track - this morning's slight weight gain for my weekly weigh-in

Whoo hoo! I can't wait to hear what you think of the p90X! Have you done level 3 of the Shred DVD's before?

Miranda - I had never done level 3 of the Shred dvd before and WOW - Jillian is not playing around! lol I did it for the 1st time on Saturday and then again this morning. Sunday I read the P90X book and have decided I'm going to do the P90X "lean" program which is geared towards losing weight. They also have the "classic" program which I think most people follow to build muscle and a 3rd program but I forget what it's called. The trick for me with P90X is going to be scheduling it in. It's 13 week, 6 days a week and most of the videos are an hour where as I'm used to just doing 30 min in the morning for 30Day Shred. The week's the kids are with their dad shouldn't be a problem but the week's they're with me I'll probably have to juggle some morning and some evening sessions in.

Carrie - I seem to have gotten it together and got that weight off! Now if I can just manage to hold on to a loss for the week I'll be happy!

Feb 1-5

Food wasn't that great but here are the workouts for last week:

Wed - 30 Day Shred, 30 min run
Thu - 30 Day Shred, 30 min walk
Fri - NONE
Sat - 30 Day Shred Level 3!!
Sun - NONE

NOW - I'm back on plan with tracking my weight watchers food this week because I've pretty much used up all of my "extra" points for the week with last night's superbowl snacks!

Great workouts last week!! So were you feeling the level three workout on Sunday?

Yeah, it's a big time committment - honestly that's why I think you get results. You're working out at a high intensity for an hour a day. It doesn't matter what the actual exercises are, you are working your butt off!!

Yikes - level 3! I want to know to how you were feeling the next day... :)

I'm with Miranda - 60 min a day 6x a week better produce results. I've heard those 60min are pretty intense to! It sounds like you know how to fit it into your schedule though. I'm excited to see what you think of it!

Is it a 6week program or a 12w program...I can't remember?

I'll say. The yoga dvd is 90 sminutes!!! I don't know how often I'll actually do that one - I may substitute my own Pilates dvds on those days!
