January wasn't TOO bad to me. I went back to exercising consistently, I rejoined Weight Watchers AND I got out of the 150s! I will admit that this past week between my cold and being cocky at my 5 lb weight loss for the month I didn't track or care like I should have so now I am definitely back on track - this morning's slight weight gain for my weekly weigh-in

Carrie, it is definitley worth having a trainer just show you the machines so you know what they do, and the proper body position to look form. I see loads of people using them incorrectly, and I do try to correct them if they look like they'll listen to me! LOL

I think I'll do this!

Miranda - I would certainly need one of thos assisted pull-up machines to do one! I really need to pay a trainer to spend an hour with me showing me the machines and setting up a program for me. I haven't been to the gym in MONTHS but I still pay the membership. Maybe when it's hot this summer I'll do that!

Hey Vanessa - an assisted pull-up machine is one that you can add weight plates to give you some help in doing pull-ups. So if you place the pin at 25 lbs, you will be doing a pull-up of your body weight, minus 25lbs. It looks like this ...
