October was decent enough for me with getting back in to exercising - it was my food that sucked big time. I'm going to use November to try to refocus on my food while Jamie is gone. He'll be gone most of the month besides Thanksgiving weekend so I may experiment around with trying to cook quick, healthy meals we can boh eat and enjoy when he's back.

Other than that my November goal will be to continue to exercise consistently, to track food and to get out of the 150's! I'm still at 151.5. Yuck!

Tuesday, Nov 1

B - Bagel thin w/ laughing cow cheese, fat free chobani greek yogurt w/ 1/2 banana, coffee w/ creamer, Splenda
S - pistachios
L - baked chicken thigh, green beans, light string cheese
D - Black bean burger w/ salsa on sandwich thin, couscous, mixed veggies
S - 3 fun pack m&m's, 1/2 serving Pringles

GOAL:
1200-1550 calories, 32-56 fat, 163-236 carb, 60-127 protein, 25-35 fiber

ACTUAL:
Mon: 1,528 cal, 57 fat, 200 carb, 69 pro, 23 fiber
Tue: 1,458 cal, 50 fat, 195 carb, 79 pro, 27 fiber

What a great looking day Vanessa! See? I knew you'd be kicking butt once you put your mind to it! And great job on the two workouts!! November is definitely off to a good start!

Thanks Miranda! It is true what they say about moving in with somebody! WIthout Jamie there I've gone back to my normal eating habits and portions. I KNOW what my problem IS - now I just need to exercise some self-control when he gets back next month!

Uh oh... Jaime's gonna have to go...lol! It's good that you've got this month to figure out how to stay in "your rut" once he's back! Is it the types of foods you eat or the portion sizes that change when he's home?

You've totally kicked November in in a great way! Look at you with all the calorie counting and exercise! You'll be looking FINE by the time Jaime gets back!

It is totally the foods we eat - we eat out a lot and then when he cooks he prepares a lot of the boxed/froze/easy to make foods. I'll have to start pre-cooking the healthy stuff on weekends for us to eat during the week when he gets back. Also we tend to unwind with a drink or two which sometimes leads to three so I'm going to have to stay alcohol free with him during the week and just drink on the weekends. Maybe I'll pour my SoBe water into a wine glass to trick myself into thinking I'm having a "drink" lol

Vanessa, your calories look great this week! And look at all the exercise! Holy smokes! When you jump back on the wagon you mean business! LOL

I think that's a great idea to do some healthy cooking while Jamie is away and then pop it in the freezer so you guys can still eat healthy but still save time when he's home!
