I saw your pic of the nasty chicken dogs - we don't have Trader Joe's here, so I don't have to worry about them ending up in my basket! LOL

Great job on the lunch hour workout!

Hummis is quickly becomming a favorite of mine - what a great idea to eat it with carrot sticks! I think I'll have to steal that! :smileyhappy:

Awesome job getting the dreadmill workout in - your amazing! Do you run at the same speed the entire time you are on it or do you switch it up?

Vanessa, I LOVE the Fresh Market and wish we had something like that here. I'd be there all the time! I usually hit our big box grocery store and then the farmers market or organic store for extras.

I'm sorry you feel crappy about your weight right now. I also know that sometimes we need that brutal wake up call to get us back on track. I know that Jamie is always really supportive of you and that definitely helps. You are going to kick butt in September - I know it! Just set those goals and every day do something that gets you closer to it!

I didn't even know they made single packs of hummus - that would make for an easy quick snack!  I'll have to look for those.

I wish we had a Trader Joes here because I hear so many wonderful things about them.  The best we've got is the local coop which has organic/local products but they can be quite pricey!

Ah man Vanessa. I've been there - that downward spiral has a strong pull! I found it easier to tell myself that it all starts "new" - that afternoon, the next morning, etc.... otherwise I'd have one bad day and allow myself a whole week of wallowing in it before trying again. It's best to pick yourself up and get right back to it right away! We all have moments where we make poor decisions - it's what we do right after that that makes the difference!

You drank water during Monday night football? That is certainly some self restraint you've got there.

Hi Vanessa! I'm really thinking of looking over my WW stuff and starting again at home. And you're right, that is CRAZY about being points over for the day. I would have thought that you would have been WAY under!

Way to go on getting that water in and getting back on track from the weekend! I need to try a day without soda, just to see if I could do it.

I think that your September will be good. You are very inspirational! :smileyhappy:

Vanessa that is crazy. I really don't advocate people eating less than 1200 calories a day for any prolonged period.

And way to go on the water for Monday night football! Whoo hoo! I think the rest of September is going to be great!

Wow WW would have you eat less than 1200 calories? That seems really unhealthy. The food you had on 9/11 all seemed like great choices and a good way to get back on track. Yes weekends are harder, but you can do it =)

I think sticking to any eating style is going to be hard if carbs are more appealing to you. Because of how carbs break down in the body and we now know that some veggies are technically carbs, many diet plans are saying cut back on carbs. The only way to be successful is to just keep trying, practice rethinking what makes up a meal, and learn to use proper portion sizes.

I think you're doing good so far and you're also giving yourself plenty of food variety which should keep you from getting bored with WW.

Oh wow Vanessa - how interesting to compare the calories to the WW points! I think I would stuggle with WW also... I really like my carbs! Does WW take into consideration your exercise - and it still puts you over for the day? Those all look like "winning" days to me!

Your dinners look lovely - tilipia and salmon! I need to break out a fish dinner again... maybe once the weather cools and I feel like cooking again...lol!
