Hi Everyone,

Some of you have written and let us know you are having log in issues. This is generally happening with IE and temporarily switching to Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome may solve your problem. The teach team is aware of the issue and are working to correct it.

Also, here is a little more information for you:

Right now, this is what is being worked on:

1. Fixing Log In in IE

2. Re-importing missing user accounts (those "Visitor (Not Verified)" accounts), which is also related to the Error pages we get when we click on a thread.(What happens is this: when we click on a thread, the system needs to load all the info about that thread – the content, the settings, and the users attached to it. As the system searches frantically for the all the users participating in that thread, when it hits a missing user account, the page load fails.)

Very frustrating! I work in the IT industry and I'm amazed that ivillage didn't test this more thoroughly! It should have been a near seamless experience to the users! I can only assume that the message boards are not a big part of thier concern/revenue or they would have vetted this upgrade more closely!

You hit "Post" and it looks like nothing happens so you can continue to do it again, and again, and again, and then you are left with multiple duplicate messages. Just sayin...

Hi Carrie,

I am so sorry for your inconvenience. Bringing the message boards in-house was a major project and as we all know now, things happened. The tech teams are working diligently now to fix and tweak settings and we hope you'll all be happy with the end results. :-)

Hi Karla, I've been out of town, but have had problems posting on here. I know the ladies are feeling a bit frustrated over the number of board changes and the fact that the bugs seem to get worked out in a live environment instead of a test environment.
