I know this is way-off the health and fitness thing but I've just had something on my mind and wondered what you all think of this...

We have very dear friends that we've known forever and think of them as family but for the past few years, every single time that we visit them (they live out of state) or even when they visit us, it never fails... duel foot massages on the sofa!

Oh boy-I'm wondering if you know my friends (or if it could be the same couple) lol. Hubby and I have stopped inviting one particular couple of ours to come visit because their behavior was down right embarrassing at times. We have kids and they have kids and not only did we have to deal with their "massages" on the sofa, they'd lock themselves in the bathroom and bathe together for hours. I kid you not! Hubby and I and all the kids would try to go on as normal but sheesh, it truly was uncomfortable.

YIKES!!! Yeah, I guess I just will never understand how people like that can be okay with making their friends so uncomfortable. Maybe it's a case of being overly too comfortable with a dash of selfishness. I completely agree with the action you took in not inviting these people over to your home. That's a good idea and am thinking of doing something similar by keeping visits shorter and will try leaving the room as they start up... Maybe they will get my signal of how it makes me feel before I take the more drastic step of stopping the visits altogether. :-/
