Oh this is so true?  Where did the weekend go?

Ready for the first week in December?  What are your Monday plans?

Wow, first week in Dec. Hard to believe another year is coming to  an end.

I have been at work  cleaning my kitchen  since before 6am. Months and months of " I'll get to this later "has lead to  such  clutter. I hope to have it  neat and decorated by  days end. I'm stopping in a bit to exercise . Later I'll clean up and go get Mom. She has some errands to  do  and I told her I'd take her. One is putting an arrangement at Dad's grave and that will be tough for her. Mom has really been struggling the  past few days. She has to get some Chrtistmas cards out to people  away from here who don't know dad passed this  year. I have offered to help but she  said she  just needed to  do it. I read an article yesterday where a woman spoke of the first year where she signed  just her  name. It really brought so much home to me. My older sister and Mom have had some issues lately. I think my sister just doesn't realize what mom is dealing  with right now. I was just totally po'd with her yesterday and made up my mind to talk to her. Then it struck me that 1) she most likely won't thank me for fussing at her and 2) her relationship with Mom is hers to  deal with as she wants.

DH, Bob and I went back in the  field to  get a cedar for my porch, pretty cute! While I was putting my wreath up I came out thru the basement and almost stepped on a snake ! Is it just me  or is Christmas and snakes a weird combo???

I miss the color text we  could to our posts!

Hi Patty,

To get color and other fonts, use Word, format how you want it, then copy and paste into your post.

The first year of firsts is so hard.  I hope all goes well with doing things with your mom today.  Smile

Good morning ladies.  Susan, wondering how long it will take you to get your house back in order.  I bet the kids are elated to be in their own home; imagining you doing the happy dance to have your place back too.  ;)   Patty, it sounds like you are doing all the right things when it comes to dealing with your mom and the emotions.  You are such a wonderful daughter!   Margo, full work week?  Did your son get your bedroom all set up … loved his gift to you!   Waving hello to everyone.

My ability to post here is so sporadic … and annoying.   But I’ll make reasonable attempts to continue.   Hard to believe it is December … 2012 has been quite busy and there have been so many life changes.  It is so mild here as far as temps, low 50s and sunny.  Today is going to be rather quiet on the home front.  I do have a few errands that never happened on Friday … because of the tragic events at our college.  We were under lock down orders for a couple hours and there was so much lingering commotion afterwards.  Plus there were two fire trucks blocking our street from all traffic (except residents) for most of the day.   Back to my today, I think I am going to run errands shortly and then settle in here at home … I want to do some deep cleaning before breaking out the indoor Christmas decorations.

Thanks for the tip on posting in color Margo!  Wishing each of you a beautiful Monday.  Hugs.

Good Morning,

Looks like we're headed back to spring around here.  Seriously, temperatures around 60?  Doesn't surprise me with everyone coughing, sneezing.  The creeping crud has already crept into the office and DS doesn't sound too good hacking away upstairs.

It was an interesting weekend, including but limited to the big move, Ricky once again having an incident with his leash at doggie day care....someone wasn't aware of the don't leave his leash by his crate because he will chew it up!  Same 4 legged one apparently ate a container of fish food....don't even ask how he had access to same.  But apparently it was good going down....not so good coming back up this morning.  I've been up since a little after 5 trying to sort through laundry, trying to see the top of kitchen counters and never got to bills or anything else yesterday so I'm feeling just slightly frazzled this morning and still have the workday to deal with.  I'm also dealing with a very angry tummy this morning.  Should be an interesting day!

I really must be rattled since this is still on my screeen and Apparently I never posted this!  Hope you're all enjoying the day.
