Good Morning,

Moving day Part 1 here.  DD and I will be heading out shortly with car loads of what we can fit.  Her DH will be at the house awaiting furniture delivery.  Exciting to start off in a new house with all new things....and she will finally get to unpack all those shower gifts and nice dishes that she couldn't use. DD and I will head out to Target and to the grocery store so she can start stocking her kitchen and refrigerator.  I believe DH will head over at some point to fix a stopper issue in their bathrooms.  Not much time for me to do anything around here but that's the way it goes.

Better get dressed and get moving-literally!  Hope you all have a super Saturday!

Happy Saturday!

Today I must be the Domestic Goddess and take care of home and hearth. Well, at least home. Weekend projects include laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, foraging, and meal planning/preparation. Plus a bit of financial manager duties throw in on the side. And I slept in - late - but then, I stayed up too late last night... funny how those two balance each other out.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi everyone! Susan, so excited  for the kids ! Margo, hope your day is going well.

We are  sunny here and warming up. I'm running around the house in  flip  flops ! I spent the morning uptown running errands. Man,people were cranky in the grocery  store! Home now  doing  some laundry and baking. Plannning a quiet evening a home, DH just mentioned he will  have the  next 2 Fridays off. It is a use or lose deal and also one of those " I  thought I  told you " deals.

I woke up this morning feeling  like a new person. I really made the right decision by  leaving that job. I told the  owner I knew by spring she would need more  time from me and I just felt like I couldn't give the job the 100 % she deserved. They hired a new kitchen person last night. She is 28 and most likely looking for all the hours she can get. I really hope it's a good fit all the way  around. I'm glad I went there and tried it. Met new people , made  new friends.

Tomorrow I may tackle some Christmas decorating.  Hard to get in the mood when you're  at 60-70 degrees!
