What's your motivation?

Well, since we're kicking off 2013 with a fab weight loss challenge, I thought it might be cool if we all shared our motivation behind our endeavor!
For me, it's a number of things, from wanting to look and feel better to wanting to be around long enough to see my grandkids have children! What's your driving force in getting healthier and fitter this year?


Ohhh... for me, the biggest thing is I want more energy and I know that dropping some weight and getting more active will go a long way in accomplishing that. Been sitting around on my bum for way too long!
I saw this on the iVillage Walking board and thought it was a great idea. My motivation is feeling better. I want to feel healthier and energized. I've heard exercise can do it.

My motivation is my son....to be able to run around playing with him, and to just feel better about my self.
I need to lose weight so I can get off of diabetes drugs and the blood pressure medications. Also so I can get down and play with my great-granddaughter without needing two men and a strong boy to get back up again.
