Anyone familiar with the South Beach Diet?

Have completed 2 weeks of the South Beach Diet and have lost 7.5lbs in the first Phase. I know this phase is highly concentrated on limiting carbs, which is the only way my body drops weight. It is recommended that dieters don't extend the first phase for more than 2 weeks. However, I want to continue losing. I feel great, less bloated and leaner. Would like to connect with any others that are doing this or have done it in the past!
