I am not a water drinker at all, but read just something (somewhere) that drinking two glasses (which I assume to be 16oz total) helps in making you feel full and therefore helps you lose weight.

Has anyone tried this and seen a weight loss benefit?

Have to say I do drink water and I feel it does.. Water is one thing we all need to do more of.. Water does fill us up.. What I do when I first got into more water I added things to it to make it taste better..* I even have my kids doing it for a while NOW my son drinks plenty of clear water but at first he used the flavorings .. But I do believe this helps... in losing weight.. Yes it has helped me drop the weight.. Any type of liquid tea also helps * esp green teas..

I do not drink 2 glasses of water before a meal one 8 oz cup will do .. Don't over drink water its not good.. Drink half your body weight is enough.. ( I have had a Seizures by over drinking water ) the hospital told me never ever over drink water... I flushed out my system.. But a 8 oz of water will help before each meal..

I also think that we should drink water before eat lunch or dinner and also we need to drink water in the morning time when we wake up and after drink water need to eat after 1 hour. Drinking water too much really help us to prevent from many diseases.

By drinking water every single day you can help stave off cravings and also your appetite as well so that you can maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. It helps keeping you full and hydrated. If you drink a glass before each meal and keep yourself hydrated during the day it helps you to get full.

Wren, my BIL had seizures when a mistake on his meds caused him to lose all his sodium. Too much sodium is not good, but neither is too little. You probably drank so much water than it flushed the sodium out of your body. If we go out to eat, I always drink a glass of water before they bring my meal, but I don't do it at home. 2 glasses would have me in the bathroom!
