Are you brand loyal?

I know for the most part I don't have too many problems buying generic products or bulk products, but I can think of a few I am loyal to and while I might buy another at times I'm just not as satisfied with it.
For instance, I prefer and try always to buy Colgate Total toothpaste. I have used the same deodorant brand, Mitchum, for more than 25 years. Some of these aren't always the most frugal choices. If I could find comparable ones I would buy them and not the brand name ones.
With food, I seem to be much less loyal. I can eat bulk or generic coffee, cereal, cheese, canned goods. Detergent, I don't care what brand as long as it's economical and doesn't smell perfume-y. Shoes, I don't care which brand as long as they're comfortable and look like they'll last a while. It seems like New Balance sneakers have turned out the best, but I'm not particularly "loyal" that is, would never buy anything else.
Does anyone else have a preference for particular brands? Or are you pretty flexible about them?

I buy certain brands of clothing because they wear well, are durable, and fit well.
I'm somewhat flexible, especially regarding price and quality.
I have to say I'm not brand loyal at all.
