A few days ago, the FDA rejected a petition to ban BPA~

Many other countries have already banned its use and the FDA did decide that BPA is questionable enough to be banned from baby bottles. Do you think that's doing enough when we have girls as young as 6 years old hitting puberty, in part, because of chemicals like BPA? Do you worry about it at all?

I am concerned about it. Why does the FDA allow it to stay on the market when it has proven side-effects? Are they waiting for the statistics to get horrendous before doing any thing?

How many years did we consume Red Dye #whateveritwas before they finally took IT off the market?

I don't know what they're thinking, but they said they weren't provided with sufficient evidence that BPA is harmful. (Yet they agree it's harmful for babies and other countries see it as harmful for all humans.)

It's just one of those things...like GMO labeling...that leave me shaking my head.
