I also used the round metal tops from frozen juice containers to make chore magnets for the kids. I printed chores on a piece of paper and glued them on, then put magnets on the back. They're all on the fridge so they can see everything they need to do each day.
We have a mine carrier (yep, the explosive kind of mine) that serves to hold golf clubs and bats for recreation. I have a machine gun ammo box that I lock up coins in. An old bread rack now serves to hold craft paper and supplies. An old wine display held the kids' puzzles and books. But those are all the reverse of what I asked, aren't they?
