Even though university/college housing often has similar restrictions to what you can do with housing to apartment rentals, dorm rooms have an even bigger obstacle to "style": they basically are small spaces which have to multi-task: sleeping, studying, socializing! Essentially a studio apartment without the cooking capability ! And you might even be sharing!
But it is possible to add style to a dorm room!
