Wow! I absolutely loved almost all of those ideas. My sister has white lights strung around the bottom of plants in her bay window, and white lights strung around her deck in the summer. I'm going to string white lights around the roof of my screened-in porch next summer too. My daughter has Christmas lights strung all around the walls in her bedroom. Right now they are multi-colored, but she's had all white and all purple at other times.

My DH had those cables of fiberoptic lights installed on our deck so we light it all year round (when we rememebr). Even have a remote switch on it so we don't have to leave the kitcehn to turn them on! LOL

When we lived in Sauid, we had stings of the old-fashioned multi-colored bulb lights strung on our patio "roof" year-round as well. Gave it a festive, party-like atmosphere!

Not just for the holidays, string lights dazzle year-round in every room, and outdoors too.
