Hi there.

I have a student loan that's currently in default BUT I've been good and it's on the verge of coming out.

What do you mean by getting it out of default. Its going to show up on your credit report as paid in full regardless of if its in default or not, and the credit history (i.e. late payments, etc.) will be associated with it until it falls off your credit report.
