Spent $34 at Safeway and got some great deals.  I made sure and knew what my total should be and sure enough, I realized I grabbed something that was not part of my "meal deal" and had it removed to get the total to the correct amount.

Aside from $3.00 at Dutch Bros, that was it for the weekend!  Much easier when DD 14 is not home....

Hi,

What a crazy week already!

I worked on the weekend. I didn't spend much. I did buy some things for my last upstairs bathroom but not much. $31. Two hand towels and a bath mat. I wanted the soap dispenser and cup but didn't get it. I told myself I had to wait until my spending money got replenished.

I found some more babysitting for harvest. What a struggle that has been for me. I don't want to take time off and can't really with the holidays people have booked. I have to take a week off in September(to travel) for a wedding(AND not get paid, because I don't get paid if I don't work) so I want to just keep working. Big relief!

The house is moving along. I hope we are in before school starts. Lots to do, and berry harvest to get through. It should start in a few weeks.

have a great frugal week everyone!

We had a VERY frugal holiday cooking our meals at the beach resort. We ordered pizza one night for $30 but it was also lunch on the car ride saving us a restaurant bill.

Then we had to sign DS1 up for hockey, rust removal and hockey school - $1000! Plus swimming lessons. DS2 only cost $50 for skating lessons but he is very upset that he isn't getting to play hockey. He is too young this year but next year, he will too. I think by then DH and I will have to cut back our own hockey. I play on 2 teams and that will have to go to one, I think.

We spent $360 on groceries but we took most of the fridge with us on vacation and needed to stock up!

Purchased a gift for a Bridal shower for my cousin's Fiancé (who I had not met yet). She was very sweet and I think they are a very good match. I spent $115 when I had budgeted $100 (mis-entered a price for one item in my "out of milk" app and it put me over the limit). I made a kitchen supply basket using a 5.5 quart colander and all of the little odds and ends for the kitchen that she had registered for at Bed Bath and Beyond. It was perfect and she seemed very happy and surprised at the amount of gadgets that I stuffed in the "basket." I used several coupons and % off codes, so I saved $40.20 on everything I got. All in all, it was a fun time shopping with DD for all the items and I don't mind shuffling around the last $15 to see her so happy with her gifts. I love when you see true appreciation like that on people’s faces :)

The rest of the weekend went great with no other spending.
