Well the only musical instrument I can play is a piano and that has been over 30 years ago. But you get the message just the same. Yes, ONLY 78 weeks to go and our balance is only $40,638. Now on the wishful side if I could win a lottery and pay it in full I be elated. But I don't think that's going to happen since I only buy a ticket once every two years or so. LOL.
Life goes on. The lawn mower is now repaired and the cost was a little under what we expected to pay. Only $216. It's a 2003 John Deere Commerical mower and besides the belt the guy put on two weeks ago, these are the first repairs that we have had to pay for. All other maintenance issues have been handled by my husband.
We have 11 new family members. Chickens! (Free) They are young & have just begun to lay but one has already laid 6 nice big brown eggs. Instead of all my scrapes going in the compost bin, they'll now be shared w/ the chickens. They occupy the old run in barn that we used when we had 5 horses. We only have one now, so the chickens have a deluxe coup and we will add and outdoor area soon. Just now enough time at home to get all done we need to do. DH has to get the hay for the remaining horse this week. Cost approximately $140 for all winter. Next payday the brakes installed on my truck $55. And that leaves the plumbing leak in my shower. ???? Time will tell. At least our "to do" list is getting shorter.
Have a great week ALL. Things are going good here. I really cannot complain!
Woo-hoo!!!
Woot!!!
Norma, maybe when I get a little acreage on a lake I will have laying hens too! Some day. . .
