Hello All,

Popping over here to update. I have been MIA for a year now. I guess when your life makes such a major change some of the old habits you had die but I miss you guys!!

So I accepted a part time job. I'm going to be the secretary at my church. It's a monday through Friday job from 9-12 and they have a preschool right next door so my youngest will be going there 5 mornings a week. The In-laws will be helping us pay for the preschool. It's $270 a month and they are chipping in $200. The job pays $9,990 a year and I only work Thursday and Friday during the months of July and most of August. It's really a perfect job for a mom. I'm still doing my lessons in the afternoons and St. Anselm's starts back up again after the holidays. And I still do the Music Director job at my church as well. All in all, my music director job takes up 5 hours a week, my piano lessons take up about 7 hours a week, St Anselm's takes up 8 hours a week 7 months a year and makes me such a better musician so it is worth the little pay! My new secretary position will take up 15 hours a week. The grand total is 35 hours a week and I'll bring in about

So good to hear from you! We miss you.

Sounds like you have the perfect job! I have been 3 days a week since I had my DD11. I worked full time with my two oldest (now 22 and 25) and refused to do it again. So, here I am with DD in middle school now, debating what to do, or not do. I go in circles, so I totally understand the waiting it out, as I also enjoy a home business as well.

Congrats on the job and I hope those new windows help with the heating bill.

Hugs....

Great to hear from you, Abbie, and what great prospects for you.

Sounds like good progress in the house with the windows and the lower cost of rent for the high heating months.

Thanks so much for checking in, we have been wondering about you!

Yes, they are accepting $100 dollars a month until it is paid off. Not great, but not bad either! :)

So good to hear from you Abby! It sounds like things are on the up and up for you. I hope you can knock out some of that medical and dental debt in the next year. That will make things less stressful for you when DH has his knee surgery. Help with preschool and money off the rent, plus a new job? Aw Abby that is such great news! Hope things work out with the condo association and they will take payments?
